Givaudan Completes Belle Aire Creations Acquisition

PARIS – Givaudan has finalized its acquisition of Belle Aire Creations, a U.S.-based full-service fragrance manufacturer.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Belle Aire Creation’s business would have represented about 65 million Swiss francs of incremental sales to Givaudan’s 2024 results – which equaled 7.4 billion Swiss francs – on a pro-forma basis, according to the world’s largest fragrance and beauty supplier in a statement Tuesday. The transaction’s funding will be made with existing resources, according to the group.

Givaudan said the acquisition is aligned with the strategy of strengthening its presence with local and regional clients, and expanding creative capabilities across North America.

Belle Aire Creations, founded in 1982, focuses on creativity and strong regional customer relationships.

“This acquisition reinforces our commitment to offering tailored fragrance solutions that reflect the diversity and vibrancy of the U.S. market,” Maurizio Volpi, president of Fragrance & Beauty at Givaudan, said in the statement. “Together, we will create even greater value for our customers through agility, creativity and shared passion for scent.

“I am also very happy to remind that, as part of this integration, Stacey David will keep the leadership of Belle Aire Creations, building on her outstanding track record and drive for growth that will be strongly beneficial to Givaudan,” he added.

David said: “This partnership will build on our entrepreneurial spirit and customer intimacy, giving us access to global resources while maintaining the unique relationships that define Belle Aire Creations.”
