Loose Women panellist Janet Street Porter detailed her connection to Ruby Wax while discussing the latest I’m A Celebrity episodes.
Throughout recent episodes of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, ITV audiences have witnessed two celebrities departing the jungle following public votes.
Former England Lioness Alex Scott became the first contestant to exit the programme last week, whilst comedian Eddie Kadi was the second campmate eliminated during Sunday’s broadcast.
Nevertheless, one celebrity who has secured public backing is Loose Women presenter Kelly Brook, with her colleagues discussing the latest jungle developments during Monday’s programme.
Panellist Ruth Langsford was outlining recent camp changes, including Ruby Wax’s appointment as the new camp leader, reports the Express.
Yet, when footage aired showing Kelly describing the comedian as a ‘power mad person’ following her new position, the Loose Women panel questioned whether authority can affect one’s behaviour.

Throughout this discussion, Janet Street Porter revealed her surprising link to Ruby Wax, stating: “I was once in charge of Ruby! I was her producer.”
The ITV presenter admitted it proved challenging before sharing her own leadership experiences, adding: “The power does go to your head.”
Ruby secured the camp leadership role through campmate votes after EastEnders’ Shona McGarty was discovered with forbidden items following her decision to add butter to her rice.
Upon taking charge, the 72-year-old fashioned a theatrical veil for herself and paraded around camp whilst Lisa Riley, the deputy camp leader, carried the train behind her.
Eddie Kadi has since shed light on Ruby’s behaviour in the camp, alleging she’s notorious for nicking other people’s items.
He revealed: “Vogue has lost all her socks and Ruby has taken them. She showed me, she’s like, ‘I got her socks. So what? I like it’. She took Vogue’s boots, I believe, at one stage.
“You could tell because of the way she was walking. I was like, ‘Ruby, clearly one of your boots is too long. She’s like, ‘Just keep walking. Your job is to just keep walking’.
“So I think it might be her because she’s got so much in her bags. She’s going to leave with everything.
“She’s leaving with the jungle. She doesn’t care….Ruby can do whatever she wants.”
