I’m A Celebrity All Stars bosses forced to step in amid feud between two stars could disrupt the live final

A heated row has reportedly broken out between two prominent stars during filming of I’m A Celebrity All Stars, with claims the dispute could affect the show’s live finale.

Sources suggest that actor Adam Thomas, 37, known for his roles in Waterloo Road and Emmerdale, “totally lost it” whilst undertaking a Bushtucker Trial alongside former footballer Jimmy Bullard, 47.

The “explosive” confrontation, allegedly witnessed by presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, is believed to have taken place during a high-pressure challenge, with one of the celebrities ultimately forced to utter the infamous phrase: ” I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” However, Adam reportedly became enraged during the task and “started screaming at Jimmy.”

An insider told The Sun: “Adam totally lost it. It was completely unexpected and deeply shocked the other campmates – including Jimmy, who didn’t see it coming.

“Adam is intensely competitive and was taking his jungle return very seriously. He was frustrated by what happened in the Bushtucker Trial and lost his temper.”, reports the Mirror.

The aftermath is understood to have created difficulties backstage, with production staff compelled to intervene in an attempt to resolve the conflict between the duo.

The All Stars series, recorded in South Africa, features previous contestants returning to compete for the title of ultimate King or Queen of the Jungle.

Adam is reportedly determined to secure victory following his 2016 campaign, where he finished third behind runner-up Joel Dommett and winner Scarlett Moffatt.

Viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite celebrity in a live final taking place in London next year – however, due to the ongoing feud, it remains uncertain at this stage whether both Adam and Jimmy will attend.

The source continued: “Adam and Jimmy weren’t able to mend their friendship in South Africa after the massive row broke out. It’s thrown doubt on whether both of them will be at the live final.

“As it stands, they can’t stomach being together on stage in front of an audience after everything that happened. It’s yet to be confirmed whether they will both be there.”

ITV has been contacted for a comment on this story.

Among the other celebrities rumoured to have signed up for this year’s I’m A Celeb All Stars series is Gogglebox star turned presenter Scarlett Moffatt, 35, who previously beat Adam during his last jungle appearance.

She’s expected to be accompanied by jungle legend and football manager Harry Redknapp, 78, who triumphed on the programme in 2018, becoming the oldest ever champion of I’m A Celeb (he was 71 at the time).

Despite managing just three days in the jungle during her first appearance, TOWIE legend Gemma Collins reportedly wants to reveal a different side of herself this time around, now she’s 44 and more mature.

Additional stars believed to be part of the All Stars line-up include former boxer David Haye, 45, Olympic athletics legend Mo Farah, 42, comedian Seann Walsh, 39, Pussycat Doll and radio presenter Ashley Roberts, 44, and pop star Sinitta, 62. Two Corrie legends are also rumoured to be joining the line-up.

Beverley Callard, 68, who is best known for her role as Liz McDonald on the cobbles, and Craig Charles, 61, who famously portrayed Lloyd Mullaney in Weatherfield and starred in the sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf. Nowadays, he can be found spinning the decks at gigs or presenting his BBC Radio 6 show.
