Camper Ruby Wax took an entire bag of sweets for herself following a challenge in the latest instalment of the show.
I’m a Celebrity’s Ruby Wax swiped an entire bag of sweets for herself after a challenge on the ITV show.
The latest instalment of the ITV reality series (November 25) – which is hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly – saw the campers win a pile of sweet treats after they got the questions right in the Jungle Nursery evening challenge.
Hungry and bored of a diet consisting mainly of beans and rice, they all dashed to get stuck in when they saw the bags of liquorice, chocolate eclairs, lemon sherbets and fruit pastilles on offer. “It was like a frenzy, a frenzy for sugar!” joked camper Martin Kemp.
However, Ruby kept hold of the bag of liquorice sweets for herself and sneaked off to enjoy them, much to the amusement of some of her fellow campers, including Aitch, Shona McGarty and Alex Scott.

“Sorry, it’s each man for itself now,” the star said in the Bush Telegraph as she tucked into the sweets.
However, the issue of the sweets came up in the community meeting the following day, and it seems not everyone was happy about the way the treats had been shared out.
Spandau Ballet star Martin said it had been “chaos”, and former footballer Alex remarked: “I think that was just a lesson, it is something to laugh about but it is something like that, a small thing, that can become a big thing.
“I think the reaction to the sweets situation yesterday, certain people didn’t know what sweets were there, who was getting what and it could just be handled in a different situation.”
YouTuber Angry Ginge advised that next time no-one should touch the treat and suggested that instead, the chefs should empty it all out and divide it fairly among all the campers.
Comedian Eddie Kadi and TV star Vogue Williams then both pointed out that, of the six bags they had been given, Ruby had a whole bag to herself.
The star later told the Bush Telegraph: “My inner animal took over, I’ve got a mouth to feed which is mine!”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX & STV Player.
