Veronique Gabai has a new gig.

The beauty and fashion veteran will join Bath & Body Works as creative product and brand adviser, where she’ll partner closely with its teams to bring new perspectives and drive growth across product, brand and marketplace.

Gabai has over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, including having served as chief executive officer of Vera Wang and global brand president at the Estée Lauder Cos. She is also the founder of her own brand, Veronique Gabai, inspired by the South of France, where she grew up, and sits on the board of directors of Interparfums, Life Time Brands, and Parfums de Marly.

Daniel Heaf, CEO of Bath & Body Works, said: “We’re on an ambitious journey to reignite Bath & Body Works, raising the bar for our products, our storytelling, and the experiences we create for our consumers. Veronique will be a key partner in helping us stretch our thinking and stay grounded in what today’s customers want and need.”

Since taking the reins from Gina Boswell in May as CEO, Heaf has been continuing to make his mark. Earlier this month it was announced that Maly Bernstein, the former head of Bluemercury, had been appointed chief commercial officer at Bath & Body Works. The Columbus, Ohio-based retailer also tapped Samantha Charleston as chief human resources officer.

The company reported net sales of $1.5 billion for the quarter ended Aug. 2, an increase of 1.5 percent compared to a year earlier.
