It’s believed the suspect left the area on foot
Detectives are appealing for information after shots were fired at a property in East Belfast on Thursday.
Officers say they received a report that shots were fired at the house in the Beersbridge Road area at around 11pm last night, November 13.
Detective Sergeant McVeagh said: “The shots were fired through a window at the rear of the property. Damage was caused but thankfully, the occupant was uninjured. At this time, we believe a suspect, wearing dark clothing with a hood up, left the area on foot via Ravensdale Street.
“We’re working to establish a motive for this attack and are asking anyone who may have information, or relevant dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage which could assist with our enquiries, to contact us on 101, quoting reference 1639 of 13/11/25.
