CCTV footage shows two men using a blue Toyota Yaris to ram open the gates of the business before one of them sets fire to the cars inside
Five cars were destroyed and another was damaged following an arson attack at a business in East Belfast where a Toyota Yaris was used to ram open its gates.
The emergency services were called to a business premises in the Imperial Drive area of the city at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, November 4, following reports of a fire.
Firefighters attended the scene and dealt with the blaze, however it resulted in five cars being completely destroyed and another being damaged.

Police say that CCTV footage shows two males using a blue Toyota Yaris to ram open the gates of the business before one of them sets fire to the cars inside. The vehicle then makes off in the direction of Ravenhill Road.
Inspector Connolly said: “CCTV footage shows a blue Toyota Yaris, with two males inside, ramming the shutter door to gain access to the yard. The passenger has then exited the Yaris and set the fires on the cars parked in the yard before the Yaris then makes off from the scene in the direction of the Ravenhill Road. “I am appealing to anyone with any information, or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have captured dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries, to contact officers at Strandtown station on 101, quoting reference number 1535 04/11/25. “You can also submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/ or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at http://crimestoppers-uk.org/.”
