The Holywood golfer bids to win a seventh Race to Dubai title as the DP World Tour season draws to a conclusion
Rory McIlroy has amassed more prize money on the DP World Tour during the course of his career than any other golfer.
According to the latest figures published by the Tour, his earnings of €66.2M puts him almost €30 Million ahead of Lee Westwood.
He has also earned more than his Ryder Cup teammates Justin Rose (€34.2M) and Tommy Fleetwood (€30.9M) combined.
McIlroy tees off on Thursday in the penultimate tournament of this year’s Race to Dubai at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
He is bidding to win the Harry Vardon Trophy for a seventh time – a feat which would bring him within one of Colin Montgomerie’s record of eight titles.
It has already been an historic year for the Holywood golfer as he completed the career Grand Slam with a win at the US Masters in Augusta and he played a key role for Team Europe as they retained the Ryder Cup at Bethpage in September.
McIlroy also won the Players Championship and the Irish Open at the K Club in 2025 and, back in March, he became only the second golfer after Tiger Woods to exceed $100m in career earnings on the PGA Tour.
The five-time major winner has 20 wins on the DP World Tour and 28 on the PGA tour and is currently ranked World Number Two behind Scottie Scheffler.
