Dunelm customers are snapping up a “beautiful” bedding set to cosy up in as the chillier months approach. The Soft and Cosy Luxury Brushed Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is proving a hit among those sprucing up their homes for autumn, thanks to its “soft and cosy” feel.

Ranging from £20 for a single size to £35 for a super king size, the plain bedding comes in 19 colours to match any bedroom, including autumn-perfect shades like butterscotch yellow, terracotta red, olive green and pinecone brown. Crafted from brushed cotton, it’s “designed to give you the dreamiest of sleeps” on cold nights, according to Dunelm.

Brushed cotton bedding is becoming a favourite across the high street as temperatures start to fall. Over at Marks and Spencer, proving popular is the new Brushed Cotton Checked Bedding Set, priced from £19.50, featuring a reversible check design in a soothing white and beige colour palette.

Meanwhile, Next is focusing on dressing homes for the new season, with the Natural Stripe Tufted Autumn Pumpkin Brushed 100% Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set being the current bestseller. Priced between £40 and £70, this set is adorned with pumpkins and mushrooms to bring a cosy autumnal feel to the bedroom.

Back at Dunelm, the Soft and Cosy bedding set has received nearly 1,000 reviews, earning an average rating of 4.3 out of five stars from shoppers. Many have praised the range’s ‘stunning’ colours and its ‘snuggly’ material, reports Chronicle Live.

One reviewer said: “This bedding set is such good value for money and perfect for the colder weather. It feels so soft and cosy when you climb into bed. There’s no having to wait for the bed to warm up on those colder nights.

“It washes really well and an added bonus, I’ve found you don’t need to iron it after,” they continued. “I would definitely recommend buying this set.”

Another shopper added: “This set is absolutely beautiful. I’m amazed it is only £25 to be honest. It’s so warm soft and I feel so cosy. My only issue is I’m finding it difficult to get out of bed in the morning.”

However, despite the bedding garnering over 700 five-star reviews, not all customers were convinced. One reviewer commented: “Soft and fits well but quite bobbly – I used my fabric shaver on it and it looks a bit worn even on first use but not bad for the price.”

Another customer provided feedback stating: “Beautiful colour but not top quality. I found a small gap along the seam of one of the pillow cases and the quality of the stitching is not superb.”
