It comes as the global brand prepares to open its first location in Dublin
Viral chicken wing chain Wingstop could be coming to Northern Ireland very soon.
With almost 3,000 locations across the globe, Wingstop has become one of the biggest names in the industry since it first opened in Texas in 1994.
Known for its buffalo wings and fries, Wingstop’s website describes itself as taking “wings to another level, saucing and tossing the freshest flavours you crave along the way.”

Job postings on both Glassdoor and Wingstop’s careers website Harri advertised various roles at ‘Wingstop UK – Belfast’, with the deadline for applying for the roles having expired earlier this month.
The address associated with the job advertisements for a General Manager and Shift Manager was 1-9 Boucher Place, off South Belfast’s busy Boucher Road area.
It appears that Wingstop could be preparing to open its first location in Northern Ireland at the former Frankie and Benny’s unit in Boucher Square – which is currently home to other food outlets Nando’s and Slim Chickens.
It comes as Ireland prepares to welcome its first Wingstop outlet in Dublin’s Liffey Valley Shopping Centre later this year.
Wingstop UK & Ireland, operated by Lemon Pepper Holdings, is expanding across Ireland over the next 12 months, reports the Retail Times.
They have said that the company is expected to open 20 sites across the island within the next seven years. Belfast does not currently appear on the company’s website as a location.
