The road has since reopened to traffic
Two people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Co Down this morning. The Killinchy Road in Comber was blocked for a number of hours following the two-vehicle collision.
Police advised motorists to avoid the area as emergency crews were called to the scene.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service told Belfast Live: “The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 10:37 on Saturday, 11 October, following reports of a two-vehicle RTC on Killinchy Road.

“NIAS despatched 2 Emergency crews to the incident. “Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, 2 patients were taken to Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.”
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed the road has since reopened to traffic.
