“Completely speechless and deeply honoured”
A Northern Irish restaurant has been named ‘Champion of Champions’ at this year’s Asian Restaurant & Takeaway Awards.
The ARTAs, often known as the ” Oscars of the curry industry”, recognise the very best of Asian cuisine across a range of national and regional categories.
The awards are considered the most prestigious celebration of Pan Asian cuisine in the UK, honouring Asian restaurants all over the UK.

ARTA Founder Mohammed Munim said at the awards this year, “Heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and finalists of ARTA 2025 – the outstanding Pan Asian restaurants, takeaways, and chefs who continue to set the benchmark for excellence in the UK’s hospitality scene.

Nu Delhi Restaurant Lounge in Belfast not only came away with the title of Northern Ireland Restaurant of the Year once again, they also took home the top award on the night – named ‘Champion of Champions’ across all regions for 2025.
Taking to social media after their big wins, team Nu Delhi said they are “pinching ourselves” to take home the top prize last night.
They said: “Completely speechless and deeply honoured to take home not just one, but two awards tonight including the National Champion of Champions Award!
“We’re truly humbled a nd so thankful to the amazing people who made this possible – our team and our guests.”
