Emmerdale is set for more drama next week as a Dingle legend makes their return to the village, while Celia Daniels and Ray Walters have a shocking new plan for April Windsor

Emmerdale is set for a dramatic week ahead.

A much-loved Dingle legend makes a comeback to the village, but it’s evident they’re on a self-destructive path. In other news, Nicola and Jimmy King grapple with the aftermath of their son Carl’s recent criminal antics.

Meanwhile, villains Celia Daniels and her secret son Ray Walters hatch a shocking new scheme involving young April Windsor.

In addition, Aaron Dingle drops a massive revelation on Robert Sugden, while Dr Liam Cavanagh awaits his cancer results. But what will the outcome be?

Here are the top 5 Emmerdale spoilers for the upcoming week, reports the Daily Star.

1. ) Cain Dingle spirals as he returns

Moira is finding it hard to cope with Cain’s absence, but when Cain comes back from searching for John in France, he appears to be on a self-destructive path fuelled by alcohol and is elusive when Moira enquires about John.

Moira cautiously reminds him of his responsibilities and Zak’s anniversary, but Cain seems committed to self-destruction. Sam and Belle question whether Cain will attend their dad’s anniversary.

Belle and Sam visit Zak’s grave and are disheartened that Cain hasn’t joined them. As they console each other and reminisce about Zak, they are ultimately united in their worry for their brother.

2. ) Aaron drops bombshell on Robert

Aaron tells Robert he’s moving back into the flat today and asks Robert to stay with him for his first night. Robert agrees, but Victoria reminds him he still needs to tell Aaron about Kev.

Aaron is feeling nervous about the move, and Robert feels a pang of guilt when Aaron expresses hope for a fresh start. Meanwhile, Robert sneakily cancels a call from Kev.

As things progress between Robert and Aaron, he knows he needs to be honest, but will he? Especially when he hears Kev’s big news.

3.) Ray and Celia’s plan for April

Paddy is chuffed that Dylan has passed his driving test, but Dylan is uncomfortable when he realises Ray was eavesdropping. Ray congratulates Dylan but reminds him that the crash course wasn’t cheap, so he’ll need to work extra hard to pay it off. Dylan approaches Jai about driving for the depot, and Jai offers him a trial shift to Hull.

In the meantime, Ray discusses his new business plan with Celia, confirming that Dylan will be their driver. Celia encourages April to be more productive as well. Ray pressures Dylan into making a delivery for him during his trip to Hull, and he reluctantly agrees.

April is worried when she hears about the plan. When Jai informs Dylan that Billy will be the one driving to Hull and Dylan will only be accompanying him, Dylan frets about how he’ll manage Ray’s delivery.

April is taken aback when Ray tells her he’s sending her on a trip to Liverpool, pressuring her into accepting the job or he’ll sell her debt. Feeling the pressure to repay their debts to Ray, April finds herself nicking jewellery from Rhona just as Rhona walks in.

April locates Ray and tells him she’ll take his Liverpool job after all, but he says someone else is doing it. So he gives her another task.

Ray takes April to a hotel, providing her with cocaine for a ‘valuable client’ and instructing her to have a drink. Upon arrival, April is visibly nervous as Ray’s client, Tim, accepts the cocaine but offers her vodka. Before long, April finds herself cornered in a bedroom with Tim.

4. ) Dr Liam receives cancer results

Liam discloses that his prostate test results have arrived. Fans will remember that the village doctor has been grappling with health issues of late, fearing he might have prostate cancer.

Next week, Liam readies himself to open the results with Chas at his side. But what will they reveal?

5. ) The families clash

Nicola and Jimmy are on edge about Carl’s upcoming police interview following accusations last week that he sent an indecent image of a minor. Despite Nicola’s belief that he’s learned his lesson, Carl confesses to sharing Clemmie’s photo, and the police are taking it seriously.

The tension between the two families is escalating daily. In the meantime, Clemmie confesses to Dawn why she sent the photo to Carl. As Clemmie explains her reasons, Dawn is consumed by guilt.

Dawn tries to speak to Nicola mother-to-mother, but the situation worsens when Nicola becomes defensive and turns the conversation into a row. Laurel attempts to comfort Nicola about Carl’s predicament, but Nicola spirals and Laurel makes a confession.

Dawn is exasperated with the school’s lack of support. However, when Joe proposes a new idea, it only leads to more conflict for Dawn.

Before long, Nicola and Laurel acknowledge they’re not clued up on their children’s digital lives and agree to collaborate to shield their children from online threats.

Meanwhile, Dawn confides in Joe about her distressing past, explaining how she was manipulated into sex work and drug addiction, drawing similarities to April’s life. Dawn shares with Joe how she encountered Clemmie’s mum on the streets and her dedication to safeguarding Clemmie, even in the digital world.
