A man has been taken to hospital after reportedly being attacked by three people in South Belfast.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the assault, which took place in the Lisburn Road area on Monday afternoon.
Sergeant Rooney said: “We received a report at approximately 3.40pm today, Monday October 6, that two men and a woman attacked another man on a pedestrian walkway suspended over train tracks in the Lisburn Road area, near a hospital.

“The victim is understood to have been knocked to the ground by the suspects who then kicked him a couple of times.
“He sustained an injury to his face and head as a result of the assault – and was taken to hospital for treatment.
