Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve worked out a soap legend’s death after 16 years
Emmerdale viewers believe that a soap legend will be killed off in a shock Celia Daniels revenge plot.
ITV soap fans will know that it’s been a challenging few months for youngsters April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle).
The pair believe they’re in masses of debt to drug lord Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), with April recently becoming a full-time dealer to help pay off the supposed funds.
After catching April peddling drugs to students outside university halls, Dylan tried to convince Ray to let his friend off the hook.
However, Ray concocted a story about his life being in danger if April didn’t continue dealing, forcing Dylan to back down, reports the Daily Star.

During Thursday’s (October 2) hour-long episode, April’s double life crumbled when she abandoned her brother Leo Goskirk (Harvey Rogerson) to meet Ray’s demands.
While rushing to leave the house, she accidentally dropped pills from her bag. Her worst nightmare then unfolded when she returned home to find Leo being loaded into an ambulance after taking the pills.
At the hospital, Rhona instantly suspected April, who planned to come clean to the police and social services.
April then ran into local farmer Celia (Jaye Griffiths), who convinced the youngster to have a coffee with her outside the hospital.
However, her compassion was soon abandoned when she violently slapped April, before revealing that she was the mastermind behind the drugs gang.
Celia then warned April about the rules and consequences of telling the authorities the truth.
“Let me make myself very clear, if you say one word about where you got those drugs from, we would have to retaliate,” she ominously said.
“Now, you think little Leo’s in trouble now? It is nothing compared to what happens next… Maybe one day you’ll go missing again, only this time, they won’t find you. Not all of you anyway.”
Later, Celia urged Ray to be tougher on April going forward, before another bombshell was dropped – Ray is, in fact, Celia’s son who she took in from the streets.
After watching the tense scenes, several Emmerdale fans believe that Celia might have been involved in Holly Barton’s (Sophie Powles) death, after she took a fatal overdose in 2016.
Celia has notably struck up a friendship with Holly’s mum, Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), in recent scenes, though some viewers believe that Moira could be in danger once she learns of Celia’s drug connections.
“I wonder if Celia had anything to do with Moira’s daughter taking drugs cause they’re getting friendly, which we know will end in tears,” one viewer wrote on a Facebook fan page.
Another added: “Yeah I agree, I’m worried that Celia might plan to kill Moira to keep her secrets,” while a third said: “Wait till Moira finds out after what happened to Holly.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and is available to stream from 7am on ITVX
