Summer Fridays, Tower 28 and More to Speak at 2025 WWD LAB Forum

by wellnessfitpro

WWD’s third annual L.A. Beauty Forum will be held on Oct. 6 at The Maybourne Beverly Hills.

Themed “Room to Grow: Finding Opportunity in Uncertainty,” the event will bring together executives from the worlds of beauty, wellness, entertainment, retail, tech and finance industries to share insights about the industry’s evolution via innovation, consumer demands and a shifting global landscape. It also focuses on how brands embrace ambiguity through creativity, resilience and reinvention — and how leaders create sustainable, scalable growth.

Key topics will discuss how today’s most successful founders are redefining their categories, understanding the impact of ever-changing tariffs and regulatory measures, the realities of operating in an omni world, new technologies changing the face of beauty and more.

“Los Angeles has always been the beating heart of beauty, a place where creativity, technology, celebrity and business converge to create a path that others follow,” said Jenny B. Fine, editor in chief of Beauty Inc. and executive editor of beauty at WWD. “While that still holds true today, what’s also undeniable is the turmoil the market is also experiencing. From the devastating wildfires to uncertainty about the economy, businesses are facing one of the most complex environments in recent memory.”

Confirmed speakers thus far include entrepreneur and YSE founder Molly Sims; Polite Society’s Jerrod Blandino and Jeremy Johnson; Summer Fridays’ Lauren Ireland; Counter’s Gregg Renfrew, and bestselling author and entrepreneur Victoria Jackson. Makeup artist Mary Phillips, hairstylist Mara Rozak, Sugared & Bronzed founder Courtney Claghorn and Rael founder Yanghee Paik will share their founder journeys, while NielsenIQ’s Jacqueline Flam will present up-to-the-minute consumer insights.

Also slated to present are Hannah Beals, chief executive officer of Ouai; Dr. Ellie Byun OMD LAC, founder and CEO of Mimoh by Dr. Ellie Inc; Carina Chaz, founder and CEO of Dedcool; Kevin Cureton, president and CEO of Solesence; Dr. Julius Few, founder of The Few Institute for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Dr. Few Skincare; Malena Higuera, CEO of Noyz; Vanessa Lee, aesthetic nurse and founder of The Things We Do; Amy Liu, founder and CEO of Tower 28; Kim Natale, president of Summer Fridays; Denee Pearson, global brand president of Nyx Professional Makeup; Julissa Prado, founder and CEO of Rizos Curls; Christopher Skinner, cofounder and chief revenue officer of Front Row; Jacob St. John, founder and CEO of Navigo; Sonia Summers, founder and CEO of Beauty Barrage; Priscilla Tsai, founder and CEO of Cocokind, and Alli Webb, founder and co-CEO of Messy.
