Excitement is already building for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor, as Ireland prepares to welcome golf’s greatest spectacle.

This week, the spotlight is on New York, where the USA and Europe are battling it out at Bethpage Black. Yet, for many fans inspired by the drama in the Big Apple, thoughts are already turning to when the Ryder Cup makes its way to Limerick in just two years’ time.

The last time Ireland hosted the event, at the K Club in Kildare in 2006, more than 260,000 spectators attended across the week, watching Europe claim a decisive victory.

Given the ever-increasing popularity of the event, that figure is set to be near-doubled at the JP McManus-owned Adare Manor, with around 60,000 people expected to attend each day of the event, from around the world, including the four build-up days.

With hundreds of thousands of people already having registered their interest to attend the tournament, there is likely going to be a huge scramble for tickets.

Here is all you need to know about tickets for the 2027 Ryder Cup.

How can I get tickets?

At the moment, there are no tickets available for the tournament, but fans can register their interest here to be notified when tickets can be purchased.

When are tickets going to become available?

For the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, which was also organised by Ryder Cup Europe, the first tickets went on sale during the week of the 2021 Ryder Cup in Wisconsin.

These tickets were mostly premium package experiences that catered, in their words, to “companies, groups or individuals who want a little bit more from their time at the Ryder Cup.” In other words, they were high-priced tickets for people with big wallets.

At the same time, a limited number of weekly general admission tickets were also released for fans wishing to stay in Rome for the whole week, from the first tee shot to the winning putt. It wasn’t until 2022 that a ticket ballot for general admission to the tournament was introduced.

Therefore, if the 2027 Ryder Cup follows suit, premium-priced tickets will go on sale before a ballot for general admission tickets goes live in early 2026.

Much like the ballots used for the Open Championship at Royal Portrush, fans will probably need some luck if they are to secure a chance to attend the event.

How much will tickets cost?

Ticket prices for the 2027 Ryder Cup have not been released.

When Ryder Cup Europe organised the event in Rome in 2023, general admission tickets were between €50 and €60 for the practice days, €250 for Friday and Saturday tickets and €260 for Sunday.

Can I buy merchandise?

Yes, there is already 2027 Ryder Cup merchandise for sale, and, much like the tickets themselves, it is not cheap. The least expensive item of clothing is a polo shirt starting at €75.
